Cassandra's starter Pokemon, received in New Bark Town at level 5. The two have a lot in common, both of them essentially being (or having once been, in Cassandra's case) lab creations and chimeric organisms created solely to fight monsters. Cassandra suspects this may be why she ended up with it in the first place.

A somewhat overvigilant Pokemon, Blade is Lonely by nature, and notably alert to sounds. It is a Fairy-Type Pokemon, and like most Type: Nulls, is somewhat glitchy: It sparkles in the light, and also has a tendency to suddenly jump from place to place without any apparent movement or effort on its part (though it does tend to sparkle more brightly when it does so). Fortunately(?), the latter only seems to happen when no one is looking directly at it.

Evolved into Silvally during Week 8, a few days after the Gym battle with Falkner.
